Who me?
I’m Stephen Currie, ‘Curriemonster’ or just ‘Currie’.
You’ll find me 9-5ing it in Belfast Northern Ireland for a web/print company and if I’m not there I’m at least slaving over my laptop working on posters, artwork and websites for bands, promoters or pretty much anyone! When I’m not working I’m most likely behind my drum kit playing for the metal/hardcore band GACYS THREADS.
So what is Mindblankgraphics then?
This is my on-line portfolio/blog, where I will be showcasing my print work, web design and general tom foolery of the digital nature.
So what do I do?
- Valid XHTML & CSS sites (I use Wordpress; nice way to allow the client to control their content on the site).
- Search Engine Optimisation; I like working close with the client to help with their search engine rankings.
- I create & code interesting Myspace Profiles for bands and musicians.
- Print work, e.g. Gig posters, flyers, album artwork, and corporate business material.
So what have I got?
- I graduated from University of Ulster Jordanstown in 2007 with a Bsc Hons in Interactive Multimedia Design.
- 3+ years commercial experience in Web Design/development.
- Good communication and time keeping skills.
- I have a lot of patience for clients who might be new to understanding websites and their development.
- A positive nature, I always try to be optimistic even when all the deadlines are creeping around the corner.
- And lastly… a mohawk. I won’t be hiding in the crowd.
